Mylopotamos or Milopotamos beach is located in the northeast of the Pelion peninsula. The distance to the capital city of Volos is about 52 kilometers. The beach consists partly of sand but mainly of small white pebbles and is divided by a rock into two. A winding path surrounded by pine trees connects the two beaches to eachother. The sea water has a beautiful turquoise color.

At the beach of Milopotamos is a beach bar, where you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds, and there are a few tavernas. It is partially organized, with on one side a section where you have to pay for sunbeds and a another section where you can lie freely.

Milopotamos beach is a beautiful combination of nature, with beautiful cliffs around the beach and rocks in the sea, lots of trees and clean water. The last stretch to the beach is via steps and paths leading down. Because it is less easy to reach, and some people don't want to walk and climb up and down to reach Milopotamos, it is relatively fairly quiet on this beach compared to other beaches in the area. The sea in Mylopotamos beach goes down quite steeply and so is not really suitable for families with small children.
