There are several beaches on Mykonos with this name. This one is the small beach in between Platis Gialos and Paranga beach. Sometimes it's a bit in the wind, but there are places where you can lie down, be sheltered and still be in the sun. Especially pretty in May when it's full of flowers. Some people sunbathe on the nearby rocks. The beach is probably named after the small church that you find here. Next to Agia Anna Beach you find the larger beach of Paranga or Paraga - literally next door - which is a combined textile and partly naturist beach. On this beach you find all amenities, including a supermarket and several accommodations and restaurants. You can walk along the coast to Agia Anna Beach from Platis Gialos or you can reach it by bus from Mykonos Chora (direction Paranga Beach).
