Driving on Karpathos
Karpathos driving is on the right, like the rest of Greece, and the roads are narrow and winding rather than fast. The main road runs up the east coast from Pigadia to the beaches, while the north and Olympos are a long, rough drive or a boat trip. A smaller car is the easier choice for tight village streets and steep gradients.
