The Beaches of Antiparos: Soros, Agios Georgios and Glyfa
Antiparos keeps its best beaches along the west and south coasts, and Soros is rated the best on the island. Agios Georgios in the south has a large child-safe sandy beach facing Despotiko, Glyfa fronts the channel to Paros, and Psaraliki, Sifneiko, Apantima and the camping beach lie within reach of Antiparos Town. Most sit on smooth, sandy west coasts, while the east coast keeps rougher small bays.

Soros
Soros is rated the best beach on Antiparos, on the south-east of the island. It has two good tavernas and a section where naturism is allowed, and it stays quiet with no bar noise. The restaurant Still Waters at Apantima is about 1 kilometre away in one direction, and Agios Georgios with its tavernas is roughly 1 kilometre in the other. Holiday houses sit back from the sand, and the nearest supermarkets and an ATM are in Antiparos Town.
Agios Georgios
Agios Georgios, in the south of Antiparos about 12 kilometres from the port, has a large sandy beach on a bay that faces the uninhabited island of Despotiko. The rare beach lily sometimes grows here, and the shallow water and near-absence of traffic make it a safe spot for small children. Quiet coves with smaller beaches lie on the other side of the village, and a few beachfront tavernas serve lunch. Psaraliki
Psaraliki is the main town beach, on the south-east edge of Antiparos Town within walking distance of the port and the shops. It is a sandy, easy-to-reach beach that suits a swim close to your room, backed by tavernas and cafes. Several places to stay, from Kastro Antiparos to Pavlos Place, sit within a few hundred metres of the sand.
Sifneiko
Sifneiko, also called Sifnaikos Gialos, is a sandy beach a little south-west of Psaraliki, likewise within walking distance of Antiparos Town. It sits on the smooth west side of the island and makes an easy alternative to the town beach, a short stroll from the centre.
Apantima
Apantima is a beach on the east coast of Antiparos, about 1 kilometre from Soros, with the Still Waters restaurant at the waterside. It is a quieter sandy stretch away from the town, handy for a meal by the sea, and Studios Apantima sit 300 metres back from the sand.
Glyfa
Glyfa is a sandy beach close to Antiparos Town, on the Paros–Antiparos channel about 3.5 kilometres from the port, looking across to Paros. It is quiet and convenient, fronted by the Garden Apartments 30 metres from the water, and it suits a calm swim within easy reach of the town.
Camping beach and Diplo
North of Antiparos Town, close to the campsite, lie the beaches of Agios Theologos and the camping beach, a few minutes from the small town. The camping beach and the town's naturist beach both look out to the small uninhabited island of Diplo, and in the shallow bay you can wade across to it in about ten minutes. Diplo is a tiny island with a few small beaches and just one house, and to its north the privately owned islet of Rematonisi shows houses, palm trees and beaches of its own.
