Where to pick up a car on Evia
Evia is joined to the mainland by a road bridge at Chalkida, so you drive straight across without a ferry. You can bring a mainland hire car or pick one up in Chalkida, and many agencies deliver to your hotel. Book ahead for July and August, when fleets sell out.

Driving on Evia
