<The village of Maronia on Crete
There are two old churches in the village of Maronia. One of them is dedicated to the Holy Trinity (Agia Triada) and the other to the Dormition of the Virgin (Kimiseos tis Theotokou).
Maronia is a small mountain village tucked away in the green hills of the Lassithi district. It is situated about 15 kilometers south of Sitia on the Sitia - Ierapetra road.
