Palailoni is a small mountain village in the Apokoronas area just above Kefalas on the Georgioupoli - Kefalas - Palailoni route. Actually it looks more like an extension of the village of Kefalas. Palailoni consists of only a few houses and it is very quiet and green. There are large plane trees along the road. A lot of the houses that have fallen apart date from the Venetian and Turkish period (with large stone arches).
