The village of Lagkada / Langada on the island of Crete

Lagkada is a small village in the east of the Lasithi district. On the map it is often mentioned as Langada, on the signs along the road it is called Lagkada. The village is located on the route Palekastro - Lagkada - Azokeramos - Zakros. Along the road that runs through the village is the large Agios Savvas church, which is quite new. He has a dome and a bell tower. At the bottom of the church there is a water source. Situated a bit higher up is the nice Agia Triada church near the cemetery of the village.
